In every Wellth-e supplement you’ll find 2 actionable lists:
Life is Short because, well, it is! Who has time to overthink, fuss or spiral into analysis-paralysis? If you’re the sort who mostly does the right thing, realizes that you can do everything perfectly and still be hit by an asteroid so who cares anyway, or are just having one of those f-it days, this list is for you.
OCD (Optimal, Comprehensive, Deep) is for you if have plenty of hired help, want to annoy your in-laws and other pesky family members, like scavenger hunts, still don’t have a date for any of your free nights, and/or your cat wants you to get a life. You’re welcome.
At home, you control the kitchen. On the road, plastics are everywhere: disposable coffee cups, bottled water, takeout containers, airplane trays. This reset covers your travel kit, what to avoid, and how to adapt when abroad.

Life is Short (Do These First)
- These 5 swaps cover 80% of plastic exposures while traveling:
- Travel Mug → Choose stainless steel with silicone gasket (no polypropylene inside contact).
- Brand: Hydro Flask, Klean Kanteen.
- Avoid lids with mixed plastics that touch hot liquid.
- Water Bottle → Bring refillable stainless or glass (with silicone sleeve).
- At airports, refill post-security.
- Avoid PET #1 bottles reused multiple times (leach with heat/sun).
- Gym Shake Bottles → Skip polypropylene “shaker cups.”
- Use stainless steel blender bottles (e.g., BlenderBottle Strada).
- Lunch Boxes → Glass or stainless steel containers with silicone-seal lids.
- If microwaving: remove lids (even silicone lids can warp at very high heat).
- Takeout Strategy → Carry collapsible silicone or stainless container for leftovers.
- Transfer food immediately from Styrofoam/disposable plastics to safe containers.
- Travel Mug → Choose stainless steel with silicone gasket (no polypropylene inside contact).
These five cover the highest daily exposure points: what you drink, what you cook on, what you store food in, and what you breathe.
Behavior hack for this week: “Sip stainless, stash silicone, skip Styrofoam.”
- Sip stainless → Always drink hot/cold from stainless (water bottle, mug, shaker).
- Stash silicone → Keep a collapsible silicone container for takeout/leftovers.
- Skip Styrofoam → Say no to foam cups and clamshells (highest leach risk).
